I actually finally plucked the courage to visit nuffnang and see my blog viewership and I'm surprised to see that PEOPLE STILL READ THIS BLOG! Omggg hahahah yall have so much faith in me man! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you who is reading this. I was HONESTLY expecting like zero or one view a day or smth, but yes people still visit this humble abode haha. Okay, sorry to disappoint you guys but the truth is this space ain't gonna be very updated yea. If you wanna 'follow' my life then you gotta check out twitter or facebook. Lol. I post little nuggets of my daily happenings there cos it's so much more convenient!

Anyway, I'm up at 4am in the morning, watching the exciting Brazil vs North Korea match. Not cos I stayed up purposely to watch this but because when I finished packing, the match just started. Packing for what, you say? I'm going to South Korea in a few hours!!! I can't believe it. All the plans, failed plans, change in plans, no plan, etc since last year HAS FINALLY COME TRUE and I'm actually GOING to my motherland! LOL. Can't believe it, really. It's like a dream come true AHHHH~

I really hope for two things. That one, North Korea won't decide to stage a war while we're there, and two, that my Korean speaking skills will let us survive through the trip! I'm going with Celeste and Chialing! Thank God for them if not there'll be no one suitable who's willing to go Korea with me!!! Yeps so I'm starting to get really excited at this point heheheh.

I'll be back on 23rd, and then I'm off again to Taiwan on 4th July with May and Alicea! Hahaha I'm funding half of each trip by myself okayyyy. My hard earned money!! Lol. So it's not a fully sponsored trip and I gotta spend my money wisely!

Oh, Brazil just made a second goal! Hahaha NK die liaoooo. I'll be rooting for South Korea when they play against Argentina on 17th! 대한민국 화이팅! :p

All my life, I never thought or considered about this. All my life, I never had to struggle in this area. Now it's hit me hard and strong, I really am not as ___ as I think I am. Now I see how I'm being seen. It's time to lower my pride and do something about it. It's so hard, it's so torturous, but I just have to suck it up and do it.

Sorry that this blog is dead. But a good thing anyhow; not many will read it anymore, which is exactly what I want.

Had filming for Marilyn's pre-wedding video on thursday. One of the coolest experience ever!! If you don't know what a pre-wedding video is, you haven't been to a high budget wedding lol. The couples who patronise the wedding planners are those with budgets of like 150k. So anyway, Marilyn isn't a very rich bride-to-be but she's a wedding planner who just started out and so her wedding needs to be of wedding-planner standard too!

Anyway, I kinda wrote the script for her video and she engaged this video company, and this particular crew is made up of very interesting and experienced people. The main video guy was educated in Japan in film studies and he was there on SCHOLARSHIP okay. So cool right who gets scholarship to go Japan to study how to make films?!?!?! He's like very fluent in Japanese lah. OMG I also wanna like go to KOREA and like learn how to act in movies. Hahahah.
So anyway, his repertoire and experience include doing lightings for Japanese porn. o_o Like woahhhh hahahahha. And I asked him if it's weird to err watch the actors and actresses...act. Lol but he says it's not that weird. Haha okay I wouldn't wanna be in such a set man no way.

The sound guy is a very experiencedguy who works for alot of Mediacorp productions. And the other two guys are also very experienced people lah, no interesting background but they are all very professional. I see the way they work ah, it's like WOAH MAN. So detailed and meticulous. You know, when the camera moves from like one focus to another, they have to adjust the lens focus and they have to rehearse and mark the positions of the knob (to adjust the lens) and everything. Okay you probably can't picture this whole scene but just know that it's super tedious and I really respect their professionalism! You know, even watching the playback from the camera screen is as if I'm watching a channel 8 drama going on. The lighting, focus, movements and EVERYTHING is so PROFESSIONAL. Ahhh y'all should've been there!!

We filmed in the house first, so it was like super cool cos it was like a TV drama production lah, with the lighting, huge boom mike and all. And we moved on the film in Bishan Park. Wah best, alot of people walked past and stared at us. Got one auntie even came over and asked if we were like new actors, gonna appear on TV and all hhahah I WISH AH. And the last stop was at their own studio. We filmed from like 8plus in the morning till like 8plus at night. Crazy. And the video is gonna be like 5 mins? Haha imagine the amount of time and effort put in for MOVIES. Wow...respect man.

Hahahha there was this scene where Marilyn had to play the maid and serve us drinks while we played mahjong. She had to like stuff her boobs so that she can bend down and expose her cleavage to the camera. I was kinda shocked at how openly everyone just discussed about her boobs and how to make her cleavage more obvious :S I'll never let people talk about me like that :/ But if she's comfortable then never mind lah. Maybe it comes with age..? :S

I was dressed in the SIA uniform. This is a real SIA uniform. Marilyn's friend gave it to her when she quit SIA. But it was too big for me so actually behind me was like 3 clips to pull the kebaya tighter lol. Ryna and I were calefares in the video. Random girl #1 and #2. I think my costume made it even more distracting for the passers-by. Like who wears the SIA uniform to a scorching hot park?!?

Cool right. Got reflector some more leh ahhaha.

I'm SO doing a pre-wedding video for my wedding. Don't care if my budget is 150k or 50k I'm doing it haha! So super fun man, and I'm gonna go all out in acting. Whoever wants to be my future husband gotta agree to do such a video heh heh heh.

Easter performance is TOMORROW!!! I had like 3-4 weeks to choreograph the whole dance but really THANK GOD for giving me such hardworking dancers! We really managed to pull it off I'm sooo glad. And looking back, I believe that the choreography was not done wholly by me, God really worked through me. I couldn't have choreographed something like that. It's my first time!! So yesssss, this is all God's work. Hope lives will be touched tomorrow! Service is gonna be AWESOMEZZ! :DDD

Wow this place is a desolate wasteland hahaha I haven't blogged in days. So sorry, have been really busy preparing for Easter dance and work and stuff, and I don't bring my laptop back from work, so yeah. And there's nothing really interesting going on in my life so I shan't bore you either lol.. Just that I'm choreographing Easter service's opening dance item OMGGG it's like my first choreography and it's the opening?? For COMBINED services omggggg stresss haha. But it's fun really and God really blessed me with very hardworking dancers so thank God for that!!!

And as for my job, well, there aren't any interesting events recently that I can boast about haha. Just that my colleague's wedding (the asst. wedding planner) is coming up on April 8th and I designed most of her wedding stationery! Like their napkin slips, menu, table number, etc. And I'm gonna be her emcee for the night wahahah. Her theme is fairytale ball kinda feel so we're all dressing up as royalty. Got my costume from Masquerade! It's a really cheap and good place where I rented my Egyptian costume for racial harmony day back in 2008 lol. Seems like so super long ago. My gown is really cool!! Got can-can! Haha stay tuned till 8th April thereafter to see photos! x)

Okay I'm actually blogging cos I'm waiting for my videos to finish downloading. It's for a SingTel event coming up! Next week got like 3 events. Back to an EVEN BUSIER life for me. See lah, I always have to choose the difficult and busy path. So me. But I secretly wanna migrate to New Zealand and rear sheep. Who's with me?

I guess, it's obligatory that I do an annual birthday post no? Well I think since this year's birthday is the first in many many years that I've spent out of school, so it wasn't really exciting..? Yeah I didn't really anticipate it like WAO MY BIRTHDAY IS COMING I'M EXCITED ABOUT THE PRESENTS AND THE WISHES yada yada. Lol. Getting old is not fun -_- I think as you get older, birthdays get less special, really.

But I did get surprised by unexpected gestures, as well as disappointed due to my own expectations. It's normal ain't it? But just wanna do a big shoutout here; great thanks to the people who made time for me on this day of mine, you know who you are :)

And thank you God for creating me just the way I am on this very day, nineteen years ago!

Hello hello. I'm doing a special feature post, it's gonna be all about the very first wedding that I helped to run! :D If yall followed me on fb, you would've known that the bride is Miss Singapore Universe 2008! And the groom is a Datuk's son from KL. Woahzz right? Hahahha it was sooper exciting! Gonna let the pictures do much of the talking.

Went to office first thing in the morning at like 8am to bring stuff over to the church. My other wedding colleagues had it worse, they had to be in the bride's house at 4am cos the groom had to step into the bride's house by 6.30am, auspicious timing or sth la. So yup, I just helped to set up the church before all the guests came.

Venue was the Armenian Church near Fort Canning there. It's a really small, cosy but beautiful church. The only bad thing was no aircon so everyone was raining there. Hahah.

All the 兄弟 and 姐妹 lining up to enter the church. The flowergirls and pageboys were SUPER CUTE LORRRR! Ahhhh hahah.

Down the aisle. Here you can see the flower decor of the church. We often engage the services of this genius florist, Hari, from Boenga. His designs are super super nice. Later you can see what he did for the ballroom. WOW man. If you've got the monehhhh, please go to him and you'll definitely be satisfied.

The pastor was really charming hahahha. And the bride cried while exchanging vows. Oh man I'll really definitely cry at my own wedding!!! Lol.

After the church wedding, we packed up, went back to office, took the ballroom stuff and went to Shangri-la to set up. Yes, Shang again -_-

Cos the bride LOVES ball-balls, the florist designed a ball themed flower decor for the ballroom. This is actually the cocktail area. They had two of such 'trees', which had crystals hanging down and flower balls too. These flower balls are made of roses. Here is a closer look:

The cocktail area also had FOUR large ice blocks. And inside, they froze their wedding photos. So it's like super super cool lah. These ice blocks are huge! And since they were double sided so there were like 8 photos altogether. So cool right! It's unlike the usual photo album for people to flip through. See, you pay for a wedding planner, these cool ideas are what you get haha.

The 18 tables surrounding/near the centre aisle were given elaborate table decor.

Hello, like wow?! Since when have you attended a wedding with your table looking like that?! So super nice lor can!! AND that is just a guest table. Wait till you see the VIP table. Hah.

The other tables at the sides of the ballroom just had the flower ball-ball on top of a long vase. Simple and elegant.

Guess what, this is the stage. Yes. It's a vision in white. More of those cool 'trees' with more flower ball-balls. Even the flooring was in white can, they covered it with a white felt cloth or sth like that. So cool lor.

The same stage, with a different lighting, and the wedding cake. FYI, this is a fake wedding cake with a hole to insert the knife into. This is Shang's standard wedding cake lol. When I attended my second cousin's wedding, the next day, at the same ballroom (lame right I know), I saw the same cake. LOL.

Better view of the stage from afar, and this is actually the centre aisle of the ballroom. As you can see, there are HUGE candles lining the aisle. Yup, they are real huge candles, and inside, it

holds smaller candles. So cool right.

AND PRESENTING.....THE VIP TABLE!

Comeon, look at the flower decor. It's truly magnificient omgzzz. Sooo nice lah look at the centrepiece!!! The details!!! Sigh..makes me wanna get married lol. But I need a rich husband to be able to afford this kind of decor hahaha!

And finally, the general view of the centre of theballroom with the decor and lighting all done. So nice right. And the night hasn't even started yet!

They invited like stars to come perform la. It was more of a show than a wedding. You may not know them lah, but world-class violinist Dr Joanne Yeoh was there, she was super super pro ok her violin skills are like WOWZA. And Malaysian singer Juwita Suwito was also singing. Her voice is so so so amazing!! And they had a live jazz band playing music throughout the night. All their videos and photo montages were done by really really good professionals and the couple was so sporting! Their wedding video was really funny and well done! Haha. And of course, as an ex beauty queen, what's her wedding without a catwalk right? So for her second march in, she catwalked and sashayed around the ballroom lol.

I think overall it was a very very one-of-a-kind wedding lah. Only the rich and famous can enjoy this type of wedding. Even I personally do not wish to have such a lavish wedding, I don't even want a dinner. It's like, you're gonna have to invite people who you probably would only end up seeing again at funerals (in Flying Dutchman's words, which are quite true). But still, it's really dreamlike and fairytale to have such a perfect wedding. Seriously, you want your wedding to be perfect, get a wedding planner. And not just any wedding planner, come to my company hahaha! Eh we not bad k, won Singapore Tatler like 4 years in a row for best wedding planner haha.

So that's the end of my recount. Super memorable! And if you're wondering what camera I used to take such awesome photos, it's just a simple point-and-shoot CANON camera. Canon rocks, I'm a firm supporter!!! :D I didn't do a single touch of photoshop on all my photos at all. Only resized it so it's easier to upload. PRO RIGHT MY CAMERA MUAHAHA.

Omg, I've neglected this space for far too long!! So ultra sorry people!! If I could I would dance Sorry Sorry for you now haha :D So anyway, let me just err update what's been happening, hopefully some with photos to show yall..

Okay what has happened so far? Oh yes, I shall start with err crashing orientation with the OG heads! This year, if y'all didn't already know, the SCs have decided to change tradition and instead of naming the OGs after VICTORIA, they named it VJSPEARCA. Don't ask me why how who and when. I'm puzzled too T_T
Anyway, I crashed with last year's OG heads! Feels good to meet up with them again :):) And we like camwhored in front of our respective OG colour. The other pictures are up on FB!

I swear this year's banner girl for the red OG looks alot like my costume last year LOL!

And a very random event. My mom brought home this monstrous BANANA from Sarawak. Omg la it was ginormous??!?! Look at the photo I took in comparison to my hand o_o

Anyway, on sunday, I went shopping with Celeste! :) Bought ALOT of stuff from Bugis, including two pairs of really nice shoes xDD So so happy :D And after that I watched Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus (6 stars) alone. Well, I can sum the movie up in one word: artistic. Haha okay maybe 'abstract' can work too. I didn't really get the whole storyline while watching the movie, only when I came back and IMDB-ed plus wiki-ed it then I understood.. The plot is really nice I must say, but it wasn't clear enough in the film. Or maybe their dialogue was just too heavily accented. The acting was VERY GOOD. Hello we're talking about Heath Ledger, JOHNNY DEPPPP, Jude Law, etc. I actually watched it to see them act haha. Well, I think the dreamland visuals deserve praise. It was really believable and beautiful! But because I didn't really enjoy the movie that much and was left abit clueless at many parts, I give it 6 stars.

After that, I met up with Sef so that he could see the autographed SNSD and SuJu CDs that Tiong and Kenickie won from the Seoul Infinite Dream contest using our Nobody video!!! xDD It's reaaaal!! The autographs are reallll!! :DDDD All the SNSD and SuJu people have touched the CDs before OMGGGG. And we totally camwhored with the CDs LOL!! Okay I won't post much of Sef's photos here, later he paiseh ahhahah! I took with all the SNSD members (except Tiffany cos I don't like her) but I shan't upload all la. Uploaded Taeyeon's one on FB. I'll show you my pic with another favourite of mine, Seohyun! She's sooo adorable! Her personality is so cute la omg haha.

Erm, I'm gasping at their skinny legs. I heard a few of them actually went for surgery on their legs to make them more shapely o_o

Monday I had a Standard Chartered seminar and dinner event at Shangri-la. I tell you ah, I'm kinda sick of Shang.. Went there for prom, went there in the beginning of the year for buffet at The Line, went there for a meeting with a client, went there just today for company dinner at Shang Palace restaurant. And I'm going there on 22, 24, 25 Feb plus even more to come. I'm so sick of Shang! Lol I sound like a stupid rich spoilt brat right hahahha.

But anyway, it was my first full blown corporate event. Quite interesting and exciting really. But running around in heels was not funny. I was in heels since 4plus until 11plus. And I wore heels while walking up Orange Grove road, which is an irritatingly super sloped road, carrying all my barang T_T haisshhhh. If you actually wear heels for long periods, you'll be in great pain at first, but after MANY HOURS, it'll become so numb that it'll not be painful anymore. It's just numb and swollen. I hate wearing heels for so long T_T

And the event was so cool cos it's a seminar thingy for Stand Chart bankers, and I was expecting 30+ year old middle aged people. But no! The guests were all very very young! Like at least 50% of them were under 25 I'm serious. There was this girl who looked like she was sec 4!! REALLY. Like I was thinking, wow these young bankers shouldn't be much older than me and they're earning big bucks already. Cool man..

And on tuesday, I met up with the Clic Facis! :D:D Photos are in Ernest's cam. What else to say, had a great time catching up with them BUT NOT ENOUGHHHH we must meet againnnn :)

Yesterday we had an event in Ritz Carlton. Finally a change in venue! The ballroom in Ritz is nicer than Shang's one :D And the hotel felt grander I must say. Saw Sijie and Sihan working! Their job is SO COOL!!! The best part was they got to see F.T. Island laaaaa omg!! Sijie told me she didn't even know they were stars, just saw them and thought they were good looking. OMG HOW CANNNNN. AHHHH JONGHUNNNNNN!!

Okay. Cool down. Ahems. Anyway, the emcee was Adrian Pang and I got to take a picture with him! :D

As I mentioned in my FB captions, I'm not taller than him. I'm pseudo 178cm tall here cos of my 4 inch heels -_- I'm not a fan actually haha but I think his hosting skills are really good. Just don't really like him in "Polo Boys"..erm..yeah. Hahhah.

AAAAAAND finalllhyyyy. We had company dinner today at Shang. Free fooood cos company pay haha. The food was GOOD. And I had a great time playing with my colleagues' children. SO CUTEEEE! Photos up on FB!

My views: I think the song is quite catchy. Very techno, very Japanese and the concept is also very American. Are they trying to pull off another Nobody stint and get them famous in USA? Hmm we shall see. The video was only released yesterday, and I'm surprised at the low hit count on youtube, only 300plus? Maybe it'll start to spread on FB and skyrocket like crazy. Their new album is out this sunday!! I'm gonna order it :) So exciting haha. Can't wait to learn the new dances :)

Btw, thank you Sef for teaching me Sorry Sorry and Wedding Dress! Now my repertoire of Korean dances include, Gee, La Cha Ta, Chu, Mirotic, Sorry Sorry and Wedding Dress! :D I'm gonna learn Genie next :)

Just a quicck update on something exciting that happened yesterday. I was at Starbucks, listening to my ipod and reading, and at the left corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of an angmoh man and a chinese man talking very loudly to each other. I couldn't really hear very carefully and when I took out my earphones, what I could make out was that the chinese man's bag was blocking the angmoh man's path. And I think the angmoh asked really rudely for the chinese to move, and of course the chinese was pissed and he didn't want to move. Then the angmoh just stepped over the bag and went to get his straw.

THEN on the way back to his seat, he realised the chinese man still left his bag there blocking the way, and the angmoh PUSHED the chinese man off his seat. He almost fell, but instead got up and the two of them started FIGHTING. YES. The angmoh like pushed the chinese against the wall and like their arms were all entangled around each other. The most exciting and cool part was when two quite big sized men got up on the other side of the room, ready to intervene and pull the men apart. But before they could move over to help, I think the angmoh guy apologized or something, and both guys like lifted their arms off each other.

WAH so action right. I think both men must have had bad days or something. And I thought only girls were legitimate to have pms lol.

Okay I'm going for my relative's wedding dinner tonight! As some of you know, I have ZERO cousins, so weddings are like really rare for me. Excitinggg yo.

Today marks the 4th day of a season of fasting and praying that our lifegroup has embarked on. I think the passage that really spoke to me today is Ephesians 2:8-9.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.

Recently, a friend of mine told me that since visiting a fortune teller last year, she's become vegetarian every 1st and 15th of the lunar month, and even changed her chinese name. I asked her what's the rationale. And she said maybe it's cos she's been very sinful previously in her life and she has to sacrifice to 赎罪. I was quite sad when I heard that cos many people really don't know how we can 赎罪. In fact, the truth is that we can't. Nothing we do can atone for our sins and I can promise you that we, as man, will continue to sin in the future. What then is the solution? Well the problem has already been solved, and all we have to do is to accept our saviour and repent before Him. It is by God's grace we are saved and can go to heaven.
Now then, is it true also that the nicest and kindest of people who are not christians are not able to go to heaven, while ex-criminals who repent and turn believers are? This may be a very controversial topic, but the answer is yes, only if we accept God can we join Him after we leave our physical body. Because all man has sin that separates us from God, so only Jesus can save us from receiving the punishment for our sins.

Yesterday we had a discussion on crowds versus disciples. It is really sad that there are many 'christians' out there who are not living to what being a christian really is, and are also tainting the image of christianity. There are many antis around, and while many of them simply do not believe, some are so because of what they see in their christian friends. Sunday christians are just 'crowds', christians by name and not by action are not even 'crowds'. I don't want to be living in a christian shell without a genuine heart for God that manifests in my actions. I want to be a disciple. From one point of view, there are many non-believers or even christians by name who are afraid of committing to 'discipleship' simply because they are afraid of letting go of some parts of their life. They want to hold on to what they currently possess and know that giving up some or all of it comes with committing to God. Worldly treasures are but temporary and will fade away. It is heavenly treasures that we should all esteem. God please give me the wisdom to know what you consider as treasures in my life.
As a sidenote, I've been asking God to show me His heart and teach me how to feel for others. I'm able to put myself in people's shoes, but I lack in empathy and I admit, I'm very self-centred. I really need to grow in having a heart for others!

Haven't been updating on how work's going for me. Well, all I can say is nothing much has happened haha. Went for my first event on sunday at Pioneer. Yes that's the stop after Boon Lay T_T it was a HDB block party and was quite hectic, that day. Giving out balloons was the worst. I don't know what's so fascinating about a stupid helium balloon. Once I step out of the room with like 30 helium balloons in my hand, I get swarmed with kids and parents and I suddenly seem like the most popular person in the estate. But like 3 mins later, I'm alone with no balloons. -_- This went on for like a good few hours. Waah those kids are fierce man, grabbing and whining when they don't get the balloon. Lol. There's gonna be one more in Bedok, dunno when. Thankfully it's nearer my house T_T

My company has a wedding branch and I get to observe how they plan weddings. I must say it's really interesting. If I had a chance I might venture into wedding planning :) In my free time I get to watch videos of past wedding and read wedding mags and books. Waah so inspiring! But strangely I don't feel like getting married even when seeing all these nice weddings. I feel like wearing the dress, but not going through the whole thing. I think I'll confirm cry at my wedding hahhahha. Omg ok I'm thinking too far -_-

SATs are this saturday and I haven't studied much for it hahah I'm so dead I'm gonna do worse than what I got from last year.

Waaa all the sai gang I've been doing for the past few days was worth it for today man! I got to follow my boss to 2 meetings. The first one was in Shangri-La. Some Huawei company planning a dinner thing. If you google the company, you'll know they're quite big I think. They work with SingTel StarHub M1 all these lol. And they're having some thank you dinner with M1 so like they want designs to be in orange HAHA. Reminds me of the very funny and good M1 tv ad where they purposely made the stupid designs red and green in the ad.

Then we met TFD himself. Yes I finally met him in person cos he doesn't come by the office often. And I sat in his car. Omg right!! Who gets to do that man hahahahha sit in celebrity's personal car. Lol. Ok then we went to another client, guess who was it.
Jamie Yeo's boyfriend. Gosh man I was like sitting in a meeting room with Jamie Yeo, her angmoh boyfriend, TFD, my boss, and I was abit starstruck lol. Like very surreal. Aiya ok I know I very cheap thrill but how often do these kinda situations come by for a mere student like me right? Haha!

Later in the afternoon after I went back from the meeting, I had to deliver photo frames from the office to Four Seasons hotel, and guess what, (no Zan I didn't take a cab there) TFD drove me there. LOL. Had a little chat with him and he's really friendly haha. Cool not? Cool right! Hhahahaha. Then somehow right, when I was in the car earlier, like on the way to here and there, I saw two Mediacorp actors along the road at different places. One was this not so famous uncle who always act as like a father figure. You know the Malaysian drama with Jessica Liu as the 2nd tomboy sister, and the oldest and youngest sis are Malaysians, showed quite awhile ago that one..if you rmb, I saw their 'father' in the show, that guy. Then I saw another even more unknown actress. But I recognise her la cos she got act small roles here and there. Lol so coincidental lor.

Oh and I got my first 'freebie' today. It's a organiser from Far East Organisation cos we helped them organise some event for Vivo and Square2 last year. Lol yeah la abit the cannot use cos it's so big and thick and heavy, but it's a freebie anyways hahaha. Cheap thrill leh really.

So yes, today was pretty exciting for me. I finally finished my company profile slides. They are abit too animated, but well I'll see what they say when I do my presentation on monday..

After work I met the 07 Lynx people. Haven't seen them in A YEAR. Really the last time we met was my birthday last year lol. Super long can. As usual, they were ALL LATE. I was only like 10 minutes late but they were like more than 45 mins late -_- so I queued at Astons first. Waa don't try to go to the Cathay one during meal times. I queued for like 1hr 15mins or maybe more. And the food took damn long to come. Anyway, it was sooo nice to meet them and catch up. We need like a longer catch up time people! :):) Gonna upload photos to fb soon. Oh man I have so many overdue photos :S

Random: Kpop rocks!!! English songs are getting boring, so are chinese songs. I keep playing my Korean playlist in my pod. Current fave: Barae by F.T.Island!! Though I don't understand what the lyrics mean, it's ok cos I appreciate the music more than the lyrics. That doesn't mean I don't think lyrics are unimportant, but I seem to notice the melody more. I guess that's why I can appreciate classical and new age music. I LOVE new age music! Ok now go listen to Barae!! 바래! :) It's 'I Hope' in english.

I panicked and stupidly gave my own number and email HAHAHAHAHA. Turns out I was supposed to give the company's email and office number, which I conveniently HAVEN'T memorized. How I know right. I bet yall are wondering how my first day of work went! Ok maybe you aren't that bothered but I'm gonna tell you anyway haha. Actually, it was quite boring. Cos I think first few days nothing much to do. And currently they don't have many events up ahead. The next one is this sunday at Jurong West lol. I shan't go into little details, in case I come across as gossiping or like badmouthing then if one of them chances upon my blog somehow I'm dead! Haha. But I've got nothing bad to say about today lah actually..the people are really nice lol. Hope I get to do something useful soon, or go some cool place or start running around. I wanna do a running around job. Like get busy and sweaty and get some exercise while on the job. Anyone know what kind of job does that? Hahha don't come tell me marathon runner, thank you.

And I need to think of a way to start eating healthily. If I have to eat lunch at Chinatown every day for the next few months, and spend the whole day in the aircon office sitting down, I'll grow FAT FAT FAT. So maybe I'll like pack bread or cereal to eat in the office. But then hor, lunch is a good time to talk to the other colleagues and like get to know more. Aiyah I'll see how heh.

Btw, I think my sis is most likely gonna end up in VJ. Look out for her k, she's Astrid Lew, Althea's sister MUAHAHHA beware man. The Althea legacy will not end so soon ;) I've got a successor hahhhahaha.

Hello, I'm gonna blog on my last few minutes of holiday before I start work officially tomorrow. Yes I'm gonna be a peanut intern at an event organising company, The Flying Dutchman, earning peanuts. Hahhah. If you're wondering, it's the same FD, the angmoh Class 95 DJ that started the company.

And I've officially watched my first movie, in the cinema, on my own! Actually I did that like a few days ago. Watched Alvin and the Chipmunks 2. The storyline is the most predictable storyline you can ever imagine. Lol. I prefer Theodore in the first movie, this one not so cute. I think they did the movie on a low budget really. Even the actors and actresses not very good looking hahahha. The experience of watching it alone is, well ok lah. I like to be alone :) Just that I got a 'waah loner' stare. Who cares man, I'm cool lor :D

Oh and I'm aching like crazy today!! BUT I FEEL GOOD. Led my first ever contemp prac with Ydance people. And stretched like siao! That's why today super super achey, walk abit also pain pain :( BUT I LIKE hahahha. I thrive on pain mannnn. Ok that sounds wrong but it feels good to know your muscles are working it :)

I hate wearing work clothes cos I look 25. Urgh. Oh well, I can already pass off as a 21 year old as it is right haha. K I'm off to sleep. Hope the other office people won't bully me too much ><

I've made a decision, I'm gonna go for it. It wasn't an easy decision at all, and it definitely isn't the easier path to take. I could've chosen the route with more free time to myself, with my flexibility to give to my other commitments, but as usual, Althea chooses to busify herself. I hope the experience and lessons I learn will be useful. I'm ready for tiring months ahead, still learning to rely and depend more on God for strength and guidance. Thank you to all who I've bothered during my period of dilemma, Chia Jloh Kim Jiali Zan &Mummy thanks so much lol. 감사함니다!!

I think the tougher route will make me more conscious of the level of my efforts in all my commitments. It'll hopefully help me to become an even more effective time manager and multi-tasker. I can do it, with God, I can do all things!

On a side note, I feel myself getting more and more introverted. I know, this is like a strange thing coming out from someone like me, but yes I realised that I'm getting very reserved and have quietened down alot compared to VJ days. Maybe it's the lack of a familiar school environment, or it's just a growing up process. Well I'm actually a really shy person, believe it or not. So here's shy Althea, creeping back in the comfort and privacy of her room, spending some me time. Ok bye people, shoo~

Wow today was just amazing, I had the whole day free so I decided to go to this ship, called Doulos, which is like a missionary ship that sails to every corner of the world to spread the gospel and help people. But it's like super old, built in 1914, just 2 years younger than Titanic. So it's gonna be scraped soon, and it's just docking here so that people can go in and tour the place. I got to meet so many different Christians from so many different nationalities, it's so super amazing. Heard their life stories and all, learnt a few words from various languages, and made new friends. Wow it was a day well spent really. I wanna go back again, talk to more people. Really makes you open up your eyes and well see for yourself the different kinds of people in the world. It's truly amazing how one God can unify anyone from any country or culture. I'm so amazed!!

Today I watched Avatar with the friends I made at a New Zealand trip like 2 years ago. It's really nice, like the CGI is WOAH. It's really worth watching, and I've not so much against the storyline like everyone else is lah. The animation and editing really made the movie amazing.

Anyways, it's been a week since I came back from USA and I've been busy, as usual haha. Everyday going out or have something on. So glad I've met up with some of my ip classmates, and spent new year countdown with ex and current vj lifegroup people! Other than that, I've been home packing my room and watching Beethoven Virus! It's the drama that my korean boyfriend acted in before You're Beautiful. He's sooo handsome! Totally different look in this one, but still as charming and shuai ^^ Oh and I've added stickers to my keyboard such that I can type in korean now!! xDDDD The korean language is really beautiful and I can't wait to formally learn it :D

Yes, I've got a job, like everybody else. And no, I don't know what I'm doing for the company lol. I don't know what my pay is or what I'm supposed to do, but I'll be finding out on tuesday, so stay tuned for updates haha. It's an events organising company so it'll be quite interesting :)

Sorry the holiday post is not up yet, but I'll try to do it asap. No promises though! OK I'm gonna watch the drama now lol. Don't worry, I'm not as badly addicted to it as You're Beautiful heh.

And do go watch Avatar. It's really worth it :)

Hello peeps I'm back. Yes I'm back in sunny and humid Singapore but GUESS WHAT, I'M SO GLAD TO BE BACK. I got quite homesick while I was overseas cos I miss the safety and efficiency of Singapore. I really appreciate my home country much more now. I know, this sounds really over patriotic and stuff but I really love SG! Hahahha. Ok if I have time, I'll do a complete photo post k, but for now, just know that I really enjoyed myself overseas :D

Best moments of my trip were Busch Garden, the bestest theme park in Orlando, and Alcatraz, the ex prison for dangerous criminals in San Fran. Hong Kong was just eat eat eat eat but the food was really good cos my mum knew the best dishes in town so we ate good food all the way. The worst part was that HK was SUPER polluted. Maybe ya'll would have heard of it on the news, but I'm telling you here that it is 100% TRUE. It's so hazy and everywhere I go I smell either cigarette smoke, which is ABSOLUTELY cannot stand, or haze. Luckily we left before it got worse, cos on the last day on the way to the airport, all I could see was the road side plants on the highway, beyond that is just a white screen, I am dead serious. It's really very bad. SG rocks really. San Fran was quite scary cos got alot of beggars around and the roads are really quiet and scary at night. SG is so safe and our transport system is so efficient hahahhaha. Ok I'm like singing praises of SG non-stop but it's really how I feel!! Lol.

Can't wait to meet all my friends and catch up!!!!!!!! Anticipate a photo post k, cos I'll try to make time and do it. OK BYE PEOPLE and enjoy the rest of 2009 wahahha.

K, this is it guys. I've been longing to fly ever since my Killiney Kopitiam mugging days, staring at the luggages and flight attendants. And here I am, in a few hours time, flying off to USA. WOOHOO!!! The best part is I'm STOPPING AT KOREA FOR 1 HOUR!! Gonna breathe in as much Korean air as possible haha and I'll be like SUPER CLOSE to my boyfriend for 1 hour! YAY. Our love story so tragic right hahahahha.

Prom was really fun. It zoomed by in like an instant! During prom I really felt like I was in a dream. Maybe cos it was dark and all, but yeah it really passed very fast. And this is like what we've all been waiting for after As, but it didn't feel like very WOAH you know what I mean haha. Nonetheless, I got all the pictures that I wanted, hopefully I didn't miss anyone out!!! It was really fun lah. Like our table, table 10, was SUPER lucky! I got the 17th lucky draw prize, I won some microsoft hardware thingy that I'm just gonna give my dad, Weijie won tickets to flyer, and ZAN, she got FIRST PRIZE which are two tickets to Thailand via Thai Airways, not Jetstar haha! LUCKY ANOT!! Also, we won the table game and we all got some bear and free subway sandwiches. Yayyy so fun hahahaha. I'm not gonna post any pictures here, wanna see go my facebook album, which, I would create after I come back from JC district chalet :):)

Oh and post prom was really an experience haha. Of course I stayed very clean, no dirty dancing or drinking. I'm very good kid manzzz. Got a few scary encounters, but it's all part of the experience! It was quite fun lah, as long as you've got friends to protect you and you keep clean and restrain yourself. Yupzzz. Sleptover at Zan's house twice. Won't be seeing everyone till like next year!! I'll really miss VJ alot, like the 4 years I spent here really..wow I don't think anything can describe it man. Yeah. I'll miss all my friends too! :(:( But well, we'll keep in touch!! At least with the ones who matter :)

Is it really possible? I mean, how could it be possible to fall in love with someone I don't even know??! Okay maybe "love" is a pretty strong word, how about "crazily obsessed" or "has a ginormous crush on"..yeah. It's not even the character that attracted me, but him as a person, wow it's so attractive!! He's like the perfect guy haha. I can't get my eyes or ears off him. I keep watching his youtube videos and googling about him and show. It's crazy, I know. I'll get over this phase sooner or later, but now I'm swimming in my own pool of fantasies hahaha. Don't stop me x) Anyway, it's much easier to like a star that's far far away (for those who watch YB, pun intended haha) than one that is near you, right?

Anyway, an update of my uninteresting life. I saw Aaron Kwok and Ekin Cheng on monday! Yeah I forgot to blog about it in the previous post. It was totally random and unexpected. After Word for Life, we went to plaza sing to eat dinner, and Zhu Ying said some Hong Kong actor was coming today. We all thought it was some small fry, cos like who comes to Singapore right? BUT GUESS WHAT. We hit the JACKPOT! (YB fans again, haha you know what I'm pun-ning this time xD) AARON KWOK AND EKIN CHENG came for their feng yun movie. OMGOMG even though I'm like not their fan, but it's like, Aaron Kwok is one of the 四大天王leh!!! 8D

I won't tell you who is who, go guess yourself, quite obvious one. If you dunno who Ekin Cheng is go Google him, you confirm stamp chop see him before. It was so funny cos the director was there too. Then when the emcee like introduced each person on stage, it's like: 郑伊健! *clapclap* 郭富城! *screeeaaaammmmm!!!*

Hahahahhaha it was so funny. Ok I was like totally high cos we didn't expect to see such a big star on that fateful day lol. For a 44 year old man, he sure is taut. But of course, kudos goes to the botox hahaha.

And A levels officially ended on thursday, and there wasn't the YESSSSS and screaming in the hall, cos we had to stay back and stack the tables and chairs T_T totally anti-climax omg. And anyway that feeling was felt by many of us last week, when they finished their chem mcq and when I finished my art. The bio mcq was really out of place and all of us no mood haha. I barely studied for it manzz. After the paper we went out for lunch and bowling. We saw Winx Club at marina square and it was SOOOO FUNNY HAHAHAHHAHAHA. They had this great big fight, and the best part was the fireballs. HAHAHAHHAHA they made these balls covered with orange and yellow cloth. And the 'fairy' just threw it at the bad guys as an attack LOLOLOL we were just laughing like mad hahahah. At night we had a math tuition gathering at Loh's house!! :D:D:D I was soooo happy to see them again. Miss them so much :(:( even though there were only a few of us, but it was still very heartwarming! :D

On friday I went cycling with the caregroup. At first it was really sunny, and I was so scared I'll get a bad sunburn so I piled on the sunblock. But in the end, after a while it started pouring and pouring. We just waited at the pavillion for like almost an hour! Lol so wasted. At night, I had clic faci dinner!! :D:D Felt so good to crap with them again haha. Sadly, we only had 10 people cos Mr Jerald Khoo couldn't make it!! Nvm next dinner must be full attendance k!!!!

And today! Today I finally played L4D2! HAHAHAHHA it's VERY FUN. Lol I'm super duper noob cos it's my first time but I like it! So I'll definitely play again :D

Oh and I just bought an ipod nano. It's blue and I engraved "God's child" at the back of it. Hopefully it gets delivered by monday! I know, blue is kinda un-althea but I decided to go against the flow and not get common colours like RED and PINK. And I bought a new mp3 cos my dear old Zen (not Zan -_- annoying Kang An and Ernest!!!) is like almost 5 years old and has a very badly cracked screen! I can only see half the screen and it's the right half, so I have been only listening to songs where I've memorised their positions, for the past 6 months lol. Very jialat one. Repair is gonna cost alot so might as well buy a new one right..

Sorry I haven't been updating people. I'm kinda too 'busy' to blog for the past few days. Have been caught up with watching this korean drama called You're Beautiful. I'm officially addicted!! Finished 16 episodes in 3 days hahaha. The story is really nice. And I think the length is just nice, not as draggy as other idol dramas. But it's a same cookie cutter korean story, dao charismatic rich guy and cute innocent kind hearted girl fall in love, another guy who secretly likes and protects her, and that girl is surrounded by handsome guys. Haha it's like the same in every idol drama except in different contexts. But it's STILL NICE TO WATCH!! xDDD

(P/S: I've watched New Moon already!!! Watched with Celeste on saturday after church. Well the movie sucked, as in the movie itself wasn't good. Bad transitions and scripts, well the main actors didn't act well, but I thought the Volturi, aka DAKOTA FANNING!!! was great :D Love her she's so pro!! So if you're not a Twilight fan, just watch something else haha. My sis said Mulan is nice..)

To be honest, this isn't really the 'after A level' feeling that I expected. I kinda ruined it even before the exams ended and got myself into this really tangled mess, in my own hair. Ok not literally hair hair, but you know what I mean. On top of that, today wasn't really a very fun-filled happy day either, which makes it worse.

Speaking about hair, I bet yall are wondering what happened to mine. Well, the guy permed it. Yup my hair looks like goldilocks' now. When it was done the curls were quite tight, but he said it'll loosen up within 1-2 weeks, so don't laugh when you see me in ah ma hair. And I was quite upset about it today cos I know you ppl are giving me the 'its ugly' look but just don't wanna tell me. It's okay, I know it for myself. Just hope it'll look better when the curls loosen up..

Me Zan and Sharon went prom dress shopping today. Well ok Zan bought hers already and Sharon's buying tmr with her mom, so it's really just me getting it. Looked everywhere but couldn't find anything. And I was even further disappointed and upset cos it seemed like I nothing fitted me. Plus, I totally forgot about the surprise visit we were supposed to make at Mr Loh's house tonight. URGH and I didn't go in the end cos I asked my sister to watch movie with me, before Aaron called me to ask when I was joining them. I feel so dumbbb!!! :'( I really want to visit Mr Loh but stupid me FORGOT. ARGHHHHH

Anyway, we watched A Christmas Carol, but it wasn't as nice as I expected. Definitely better than The Informant though, DEFINITELY. Haiz but I'm still bummed about missing the surprise at Loh's :(

Then the only highlight of the day came when I finally found my dress after the movie. I really like it so yeah it's like the only good thing that's happened to me in days.

1. Is your hair rebonded/straightened?
Sorry folks, but no, my hair is naturally very straight. In fact it's so straight cos it's long and heavy, when it was shorter it used to stick out like a spoilt broom. IP friends yall should remember my disastrous hair hahaha.

2. Is your hair dyed/highlighted?
Urm sorry too but my hair is naturally brown. And yes under the light you can even see lighter brown streaks that look like highlights. But no it ain't fake, it's cos my hair is bleached by the sun. I got that 'condition' from my mom haha! As you can see, my hair is all naturale :)

Today after SOVA the art people went to have dinner and then watch a movie. We wanted to watch 2012 but only left front 3 rows, but some people like IAN HO said that too near the screen T_T so in the end, some other people like HAN HAO claims that The Informant! is a good movie so we stupidly believed him. GUESS WHAT. It was about PRICE FIXING and lotsa economics, business, corporate stuff. Fancy going for such a movie AFTER A LEVELS gosh. And the poster claimed that it was 'entertaining' and 'funny', pfft! DO NOT WATCH IT. I'm warning you. I don't even know why it's NC16!! There's NOTHING explicit, whether sexually or vulgar-ly. Seriously the movie sucks :(

Anyway so yeah I'm officially gonna play until sunday, and start studying for bio again on monday hahaha. YAYYYYY SO EXCITING! :D

My sister's o level ended last week.
The same sister just had her prom on friday.
My other sister had her school's gala dinner on that same day.
That was also the day I took my econs case study paper.
I just spent 9 hours at the airport studying today.
Tomorrow the sister who has finished her o levels is gonna fly off to Taiwan for 9 days on holiday with her friends.
And tomorrow I sit for my bio paper 3; I still have 2 more other papers.

Hi. I haven't really been updating haha, and for a good reason really. Well econ's finally OVERRRR and off my shoulders yayyy!! But it ain't goodbye if I'm gonna take business in uni, well we'll see about that. So far, the papers have been...I dunno. I really cannot tell if I'm gonna do well cos anything can happen. I'm just gonna leave it in God's safe hands :)

Anyway, I've finished watching antm cycle 13 and project runway season 6!! Like two consecutive days of season finales!! HAHA shiok right!!!

I'm soooooo happy Nicole won!! xDDD antm hasn't had like my favourite winner ever since cycle 5's Nicole and 7's Caridee. But this season's my favourite yet!! I've been rooting for her from the start and I'm soooooper happy she won :DDDDD Runner up Laura was also nice too. But she's not as pretty, though she's a really really sweet girl. I liked Jennifer too! Her hair and body is damn hot hahah.
AND AND AND this season's project runway is really yuck. The designers are not fantastic, although I must say the finale's designs were much better than the usual episodic standards. I was wishing Althea would win! I rmb the first time I watched the first episode, with Zaki in the art room, (that time I was still painting my coursework HAHAHH long long ago man!) and we both thought Althea looked like she wouldn't make it far. BUT GUESS WHAT. She's the runner up!! Ok lah I'm still happy cos HOORAY FOR THE ALTHEAS! :D I liked Carol Hannah too, cos she's really sweet and I'm hoping she'll somehow end up with Logan in real life HAHAHA. They are cute tgt! So yeah the winner is Irina. No surprise lah she's been strong all these while and her collection was really WOW. She was really daring and I LOVED the edgy hats and hair! LOVED IT. So I guess she deserves to win.

Mr Loh!! Last day of math tuition :(:(:( I was really sad to go! Cos I've been there for like 1.5 years. HAIZZZ I'll miss thursday and sunday lessons alot! And of course I'll miss my classmates! REUNION SOON! I'm definitely gonna go for all the parties heh :D Mr Loh helped math become my favourite subject and the one I'm best in. But after seeing the paper 1 solutions, I think I've lost quite a whole lot of marks. Rather worried, so I'm crossing my fingers for the A :( If I don't get my A for math..I'll really cry :/

Anyway, GP and bio crazy day is finally over, wasn't that bad. But GP was quite bad for me cos I think my essay sucked. Wrote the fashion one. It was really generic and I could feel it while I was writing :( And math today was better than paper 1 but not much better. Omg I'm hoping it'll save my ass! :(:(:(

Just watched a couple of videos, ANTM cycle 13 2nd last episode! Left with 2 girls now! So exciting :) And I watched snippets of the Beijing fashion show, quite cool, except that seeing angmohs in the chinese cheongsam designs abit disturbing hahah.

Next paper is econs on wednesday. I'm really hoping they won't kill us :( Cambridge's been mean so far, so notmuch hope on that. Really can't imagine how the future generation's gonna look back at our paper and think we've got it much easier than they do. MOE's gonna kill them!!!

This morning, I woke up to find that my time of the month came today, yes the day of my first paper. And thereafter, I began to have really really bad cramps, like worse than before. And I realised it's caused by the combined effect of cramps and stomach upset. Soon, I diarrhoea-ed and vomited. And I didn't just vomit, I induced it. Cos after awhile, I realised that just diarrhoea-ing was not gonna take my pain away. And I couldn't swallow anything, but I had to, cos the anti-cramp pill has to be taken with food if not I'll get gastric. So I induced my vomit. Yes I learnt from the bulimic girls, stuck my third finger down my throat and forced myself to puke. It was an ugly sight. I didn't know puking was so painful. It's like my whole throat and mouth was stinging with acid and my throat muscle was aching. After regurgitating my stomach acid, I just sat on the toilet floor, too weak to even move. But I knew I had to drink water to clear the acid in my throat, so I dragged myself up. Ate a piece of bread and the anti-cramp medicine. Felt much better, but I kinda wasted 1.5 hours which I could've done doing integration or something (which was the stupid qn I made a huge careless mistake on)

So suay right. Math was really bad. I'm sure to kiss my A goodbye. GP and bio tmr, if they're both gonna kill me like math did, I'm so dead!

Today's sermon really struck a chord with what I strongly believe in. You know, after learning bio for like so many years, it's just got me even more intrigued and sure that all the world's creations didn't just happen by chance. Let's just forget the universe crap, everyone knows it's so vast and expanding yada yada. Maybe we could look at the micro view for today. For those non-bio students out there, do you know that a cell contains enough information to fill 40 Britannicas, the world's thickest encyclopedia. The A level bio syllabus alone is not enough to really comprehend the complexities that govern the cell system. And this is just a freaking CELL. It's like what, super duper tiny. Gosh. The mechanisms that go on in the cell are so amazing. How come a cell can repair itself, how does it KNOW that it needs this protein or that lipid? Why does the helicase know which part of the DNA to unwind. How come ribosomes can somehow come together with the mRNA and create proteins?? And you think all these came about by some chance event called the BIG BANG. Ha ha. Seriously, go figure.

The airport is really a very nice place to study. Ever since I was introduced to this secret hideout last year, I've been spending rather productive study sessions there by myself. Of course I'm gonna be selfish and not divulge it here xD if you wanna know you can come ask me :D And it's not Starbucks/Coffee Bean or the likes of it. That place is nice and condusive, few students go there. Though got one huge 'NO STUDYING' sign there, I've never been chased off before and I really hope I will never :D

But nonetheless, studying has been very very unproductive today. Urghhh I'm DISTRACTED by Project Runway and ANTM! Had to catch up like 2 episodes of each cos I didn't watch them. Stuuupid waste of time! x_x I feel so guilty. Ok I'd better rush off to do some work now. Running tmr morning, can't wait! :)

And so..we come to the end of our journey. It's been four very very short but fulfilling years. I've grown and matured so much in VJ..wow it's amazing man. And after attending and performing for like 3 farewell assemblies, it feels so weird to actually sit through one, for me. Rather glad that me, Jerald and Ruth didn't have to do the speech thingy in the end, cos sitting in the audience's seat as a recipient of the concert was really much better! The performances were really good, ESP HOUSE COMM and DANCE! Hahaha. It's a yearly tradition for house comm to perform a very funny skit. We've done it again! And house cup results, ahh Draco got 4th, dropped from 3rd last year. Oh well, we can catch up again next year I guess :)

After our 'special ct session' almost the whole class went to marina square kenny rogers for lunch, and treated Mr Hoe for his belated birthday present. We're like so nice lah, even after what he did to our testimonials..T_T

We camwhored like crazy using Aaron's camera. Took pictures in class, in Kenny Rogers, outside Kenny Rogers, along the marina square steps, in Esplanade. Hahahha we're so onzzz. In the end we just collapsed on the sofas in Esplanade. And the best part was when we had heart-to-heart for like really long. Wow I really enjoyed the talk and laughs. Gonna miss you guys sooo much! That's for certain. Haiz...

Too fast lah but we were really shagged by the end of the day. Yesterday was a really bad day. I was doing the 2008 maths a level paper, and I didn't know how to do ALOT of questions. So I got really worried and started to freak out. My morale was like whooosh to the bottom of a bottomless pit, cos math is like my most confident subject and if I don't know how to do a level standard it's really quite scary. My emotions are like wildly fluctuating these days, especially since I was super at peace when I had all my faith and trust in God and I wasn't stressed or worried at all about the looming exams. But sunday totally changed that. But anyway now I'm feeling great again, got reassurance from Him. It's so wonderful walking this journey with a greater being watching over you. Just entrusting my life in His hands is enough for me. I have full faith in God!! Keep me accountable; whatever grades I get in the end I will be thankful and accept it. Cos I know I've done my best and whatever I get will be more than sufficient to do the work He has set out for me. Yes okay I'm very secure and I'll just piaaa all the way till 3rd dec. But I will NOT be a slave to the pathetic piece of A4 paper with a few letters. It's just my job and I'll do it well for His glory.

Today before the bio mock MCQ paper I asked Mr Chua if he was shocked when he saw my bio grades. Then he just paused...and said "I didn't expect it from you".
WAAAAAAAAAH just then the ceiling came crumbling down, the LT chairs overturned, the PT crashed down on top of us, the Sumatra earthquake hit marine parade....
Ok..that all happened all in my head.
BUT, my heart wrenched and I felt like I really disappointed him!! :( It made me wanna do better. I WILL DO BETTER. I'll work really really hard for this (wretched) subject!! I'll MEMORISE (ughh) my notes!! And and.. this kinda feels like IP, when I really wanted to do well for bio to make Miss Low proud! In the end bio was my only A hahah. I SHALL DO IT AGAIN! But this time, it'll be ONE of the As. HAH. Big dreams hahahha.

Oh and I finally got my lazy ass up and exercised. Jogged around school just now, and it felt really good. Especially when it just rained and the air was cool ^^ I really needed to get my heart pumping and some endorphins running. I shall run regularly from now on. It's really therapeutic. Maybe I should do the regular weekend jog in ecp with my dad again.

Aiyoh, I totally didn't check my timetable and came to school at normal time just to realise that my first period on wednesday is at 9.50!! T_T so stupid right. Last time I used to just come at 9.50 so I can sleep longer. Sigh so here I am blogging in the art room cos I've nothing better to do. I didn't bring notes to study either!! Grr -_-

Anyway, our art exhibition details are out!! It's called "Eh, Come See My Art!" Haha brilliant name right! It was like spontaneous, cos Lis casually said something like that and I was like let's use this name! Lol. Ok it's next tuesday 6 Oct, from 4.30pm onwards. You can come and go whenever you with. There'll be free food! And it's at VJC container block. Yes we very poor thing, no space then need to clear our the container block and use as exhibition space. Wait till you see RJ or Hwa Chong's art gallery. Or any other school for that matter. Lol we're poor. There are 18 students, so 18 very different artworks to see, very exciting. Right?

I spent like ALOT of time inviting people through facebook. Then the internet hanged. ??!! Lol all those after 'O' that I clicked all gone. GONEEE. :( Gotta reclick this is so time consuming!!

Yesterday we had a 'surprise' celebration dinner for Puen. She totally expected it, so not fun lor. I must tell you what happened! So funny. I was on the train, then I received a call from Puen!! She wasn't supposed to know we're coming so I was like o_o so suey!! LOL. She asked me to turn around and YES I SAW HER. We like boarded the same cabin lah! But she got on in Pasir Ris I got on in Tanah Merah but it's like so coincidental!!?! So what to do, I bluffed her and said I was going to meet my last year CLIC friends, which was half true cos I'm gonna meet them tonight. Haha. She apparently played along while I thought my lie-through-a-straight-face act was so convincing. Apparently not. Lol. So I alighted at City Hall instead and I had to rushhhh to the place to meet the rest, while poor Yiliang had to bring her around in circles, blindfolded in Bugis. OMG RIGHT. So super diu lian! LOL.

And and and I must tell you about what happened on monday!! I was on the bus to tuition, then I sat behind this girl. She was about early 20s, and she was wearing a spaghetti strap top with short cropped hair. Then on her left was this ah pek, who I suspect has like a mental problem. Cos he kept repeating the same action of lifting his arm, checking his elbow-pit, scratching his head, and digging his nose, like in succession. AND he did something else repeatedly too. He kept turning his head (very obviously) to face the poor girl, and look up..and stared..and down..and stared and stared. OMG ! It's super traumatising and disturbing!! I didn't know what to do. Cos I was alone and I'm a girl too, if I confront him, I dunno what he'll do to me! Then if I ask tell the girl to like move out of the seat, she'll have to brush past him or something. She was leaning hard against the glass trying her best to cover herself cos she must've felt his piercing glance lah. Yeahh so I was like just in shock and stunned. Lol. Then this guy and girl behind me were like saying "Waah so chi ko!!", and like "If I were the girl I'll punch him lor". AS IF YOU WOULD! If I were the girl I'll be so scared and I'll freeze on my seat just like she did lor. Ok lah it's also her fault to wear until quite revealing. But still, so scary!!

Ok that's the end of my disturbing story. Euck.

Getting back econs and math paper today, I think. Ahhh I'll surely die hahhaa. Ok I shall update on my miserable marks another time. BYE!

She brought home cooked dinner for me everyday just so I can eat healthily, and she drove me home even though I leave school after 11 everyday. Wow my mummy rocks!!! AND she was also the one who showed me the happiness survey thingy that gave me inspiration for my painting!!

My art teacher who most probably would not see this but nonetheless great thanks goes out to him! Although he is not the most inspiring or easy-to-approach at all times, but his effort and genuine concern is definitely felt by us. Thank you all for cutting the stuff the whole afternoon for me even though you have promos like next week!! And especially to Brian Zhengkai and Tianlong who helped me paint my wall white in the stuffy container block! Even though they didn't directly help me but their presence and company really made a difference! Especially Lis, Zaki, the triplets, Sam, Hanhao, Ian, Adlin, Rachel, Amelia who were usually around the art room. Staying over in school wouldn't be half as fun, despite the work we have to do! Thank you for all the advice and critique on how to improve my painting and also the help on how to go about doing the prep boards cos I have no O level experience. Thanks for bringing me laughter like for every small thing! Like Junyang and HH's dance, and also the inside joke amongst the triplets, Zaki and me. He is the biggest source of help! Although He did not physically contribute to the artwork but He kept me sane and kept me going. My source of divine strength! And the giver of all the help the was given to me along the way. I have sooo much to thank Him for! And I'm so glad I spent the process with Him cos he made it so much easier to go by :)

OKAYYY I shall do like a proper blog entry about the last few days before the final submission. As you all know, I've been leaving school later and later, like 12 to even 1 plus, especially for the last few days. Some of my art friends have turned into cavemen, looking like barbarians who haven't bathed and slept for days. It's really heart wrenching to see your friends look like that. And now I know why people say artists are weird.

On tuesday night, I didn't sleep a single wink. At all. And on wednesday I had two papers, math paper 2 and bio paper 3. Math was surprisingly okay, but bio...hahaha. I FELL ASLEEP..MANY TIMES. LOL. Who would not sleep at all before 2 prelim papers the next day?? Well, me lor. Haha. I really like shut off several times while doing the paper, and I sat right in front some more. I could feel Mr Najib looking at me weirdly like a few times, probably thinking why is this girl falling asleep during her PRELIM PAPER. Haha I find it so amusing. I was SO TIRED that I couldn't think properly. I really really tried to think but my brain was over wired cos it didn't get enough rest. I left like 2 pages blank (yes I really did) and many questions blank. I'm so gonna flunk this paper. What I'm most worried about is what Mr Chua will say, I've let him down :( But what to do, A levels more important so I had to spend time on my coursework. Oh well.

Wednesday was crazy lah, the art room was a mess, and a wet mess at that. TWO aircons leaked and flooded the art room so the whole place was crowded, messy, dirty, and all other adjectives you can think of for 'gross'. Lol. I was chionging to finish my last few prep boards. Ok i admit, got quite abit of backward engineering. Heh but who wouldn't right!! So yeah I kinda managed to finish on time. What happened after 6pm, I shall not say here. Sekali it lands on wrong eyes. Lol.

Woke up at 2pm today, just like I planned to. Wow not bad I can gauge what time I'll naturally wake up. I still feel very groggy, must be cos of the tuesday night on which I didn't sleep. My head hurts a little, but other than that I'm fine. I'm totally not planning to study for bio paper 1 tmr. Cos I can't possibly cram like 25 chapters into my head in one afternoon, and my paper 2 and 3 are already gone case. Haha. I just hope the combined grades will get me an E? LOL. Ok realistically speaking it'll probably be an S. Cos paper 3 was so bad I'll probably get like below 20 marks for it or sth :S

This whole process taught me alot. Really really lifechanging. Well for one, I know I'll NEVER do art again, ever. Of course not as in the leisure drawing kinda thing, but more like as a course or for study. No never man. But I'll definitely still draw and paint, and I can safely say my skills did improve while doing my coursework. So practice really makes perfect!

I can't post my painting here, cos it's an exam piece. I think I can only show you all like after the examiners grade it. If you're dying to see our artworks, COME TO OUR EXHIBITION! Ok it'll probably be around the first week of October, after the examiners have come lah. Like during open house period. DO COME and support me/us :D Speaking of open house, I think it's quite cool that we have a NIGHT open house (4pm-9pm) this year. Waahha VJ is cool man.

Wow what a really long blog post, but it's still not enough to express how much this process means to me. Although it was dreary and I really couldn't wait for it to end, I did gain ALOT ALOT from it. Sigh okay finally I can go study. Yay!

THANK YOU GOD for blessing me with such a wonderful caregroup!!! Today after our prayer meet they stayed back to help me cut stuff for my prep board which sped things up like super fast for me!! Even though they have promos looming ahead, they still sacrificed time to help me. I'm super touched!! NONE of my other friends would've helped me like this. NONE. So yea I didn't bother asking. OKOK PAINT FASTER. Staying over in school next weekend too:) It's quite fun!! OMGGG it was SO FUNNY we were laughing and laughing and LAUGHING at this one thing..omg I cannot tell you ahhahhahaha but you GOTTA KNOW it's damn funnyy!!!!

Ok I kinda didn't make much sense up there. But the crux is that me, the triplets and Zaki were talking and laughing really hard about something at like 1plus in the morning. I laughed until I teared so badly! And I'm laughing as I'm typing this omg.

All in all, it was quite fun to stayover in school. Sleeping on the art room floor is quite cool too.

Yesterday we celebrated Alicea's birthday after church at Clarke Quay. We had dinner at Central, and she still wasn't aware that we're gonna give her a surprise gift. Then she suggested going to walk at the stretch of bars and pubs there..and still didn't know that we're planning to go there anyway. Hahaha and we finally brought her into one of the bars and treated her to her maiden drink!! LOL. I think I'm really good at planning surprises x) Had a great great time man!!! After As we can like hang out like this like everyday!! :D:D:D

We were laughing sooo hard at this friend who Alicea made. He's this 23 year old dude who she met at her duno what new leaders youth..thingy. Anyway, here's the context. She sent him an email, then he replied the email. So Alicea sent him an sms to thank him, watch how he replies, in sms.

A: Hey thanks for your reply.

G: Hey yup I read ur reply and i replied. Sincerely glad that u loved it-i really am. Well today i slept till pei ling woke me up. Watched several episodes of the comedy two and a half men. Had a gd lunch, the best meal since last svnday cos mum's cooking is the best. Going to buy a new ipod at orchard-a b'day present to myself-how sad huh. And then cycling at east coast park from 4 to 7pm. Pls keep that all to urself. Yet though i'm having a gd day, i'm still sad, told this to pei ling. G: Hey. Ipod's working real well-got the classic-120gb. Cos my other mp3 -an older version of the nano-the screen's cracked and the battery in unreliable. Taking both ipods into camp cos music helps me cope and stops me from going mad-also maybe cos i love music and dancing-grin. And nah i will always be an emotional person until i get a better life-i.e. I study what i love-law or journalism, i pursue a career in that exact field that i love and excel in it, maintain a perfect body, be with a woman who truly loves me for who i am and not what i stand to offer, keep in touch with all my gd friends and have meaningful conversations that rejuvenate my life and know that my parents have retired and live comfortable lives in their twilight yrs-then and only then shall i be truly happy-til then i'm in the pursuit of happyness-i loved that movie cos i really know how he felt-i go thru that level of anger, sadness and hope every week. Taking the train to choa chu kang and then a bus to camp-almost a 2hr journey-life is great indeed.

Yesterday, I went for my last ever National Day celebrations. I actually went leh! Everyone else ponned haha. Well it was okay la, made myself have fun lor.. I can't believe I didn't join in the mass dance! I NEVER miss mass dance sessions! In fact I always look forward to it and always dance enthusiastically hahaha. Well seems like I've really retired, or maybe I'm just getting old heh.

Anyway after the celebrations I took some photos of the J1 house commers for my coursework. So nice of them to stay back and help me!! And I made them look happy, and jump and jump lolol. Modeling must be tiring man haha. Anyway here are some of my favourite shots. More failed ones on facebook!

Oh then at the end, we saw the draco soccer boys huddling like this:

SO COOL RIGHT! They're like bonded so fast haha! So proud of them :D They got 2nd in the end though. So did the draco girls! Well done everyone :D:D:D House points rooollllling in!

And in the evening, I watched Up with my mum. It was VERY VERY VERY VERY good! I couldn't wait for it so I watched it on the opening day. Omgsh I totally DO NOT regret watching it! It was just the right amount of laughter and tears!! I give it 9.5 stars!

The story was really really meaningful and the animation was just fantastic la. Pixar leh, of course man. And Disney never fails me! :):) It was very original and interesting, and the music was really good too!

Where the 0.5 stars went to was the 3D experience. Maybe it's cos I was expecting more like close-up action with the 3D effect? I duno, but it was quite disappointing. And watching the whole movie with the larger-than-life 3D glasses which kept slipping off my bridge-less and flat Asian nose was really really uncomfortable! Lol. Maybe the non-3D version would be of the same standard of 'graphics'. So I'd recommend watching without the 3D haha.

But still, it was a really really fantastic movie. I shall not spoil it for you out there reading this. I'd DEFINITELY recommend this movie to anyone! It's really good!

So you might've heard that LIVERPOOL came to vjc today.

Sadly, it's just Xabi Alonso, an assistant coach, and Kenny Dalglish. Hahhhaha super lame can. They just came, walked around the field, went into the igloo, and went back (??!!) LOL. It was super super boring HAHAH. But I managed to take alot alot of photos..ALOT. They're on facebook haha. You know, I didn't even know how Alonso looked like until today, and I just joined in the crazy screaming today LOLOLOL. Super joke lah, we waited 1 hour in the sun for him, stared at Alonso, who did NOTHING, for another hour, then took like super lot of pictures, and went home after that.

Do you know that David Beckham came to vjc too? That was back in 2001 haha. I bet that was much more celebrated.. His autographed soccer ball is in the Archives. Alonso's one should be sitting next to his just about anytime soon.

I painted an abstract painting yesterday,
it was a disaster!! Haha!
It was REALLY REALLY fugly. LOL. Of course I'm not gonna post it up here..no way man.. :) But I can show you the painting I did last year :D:D

Ok it's hanging on the third floor of the pt, and I took a look at it recently, it kinda looked uglier than I remembered :/

You may think it's so easy to just splatter paint and anyhow draw like those abstract artists do?? IT'S NOT THAT SIMPLE!!! Really really, take it from me. Artists like Jackson Pollock create these kinda artworks and you think, aiyo I also can do, just jump around and anyhow drip paint lor. WELL, it takes alot of skill to make it this nice ok!! Waa..I give up on abstract painting LOL. It's back to realistic painting for me!! Hahaha.

I had a very lovely morning today! Woke up early to eat breakfast with my mom, then I went for my dental appointment which took really long lol. I'm gonna put braces after A levels! But it's gonna be the molar braces first, cos if I end up going overseas to study, I have to split up the treatment and it'll be very ex. I need molar braces because my last molar is growing abnormally!! Let me paint a picture for you to see:

As you can see, the molar is growing and pushing against my other molar, which is really scary! The dentist says that if I don't treat it soon, BOTH molars will decay. And already food is getting stuck in that small gap. So scary right! Why my teeth so weird one! All you lucky straight toothed people should count your blessings! (And $$ saved from spending on metals)

After the appointment, which ended at like 10.30, I decided not to go back to school so early. Cos econs tutorial ends at like 11am and my next lesson is math lecture at 12.10. So I went with my mom to service her car. IT'S SO TOTALLY COOLZXZ! :D The Peugeot car servicing centre has like this lounge with sofas, newspapers, FREE DELIFRANCE PASTRIES and a FREE COFFEE MAKER! So cool right!! So I was just reading the papers and chillaxing there. Waaah good service man. I'll only buy European cars next time! Hehh.

Later in the afternoon I spent like 3 hours talking to my shepherd!! She looked like crap cos didn't have enough sleep so I taught her how to help soothe her swollen eyebags, and I shall teach you too! In the morning, if you realise you have puffy eyes (whether from crying too much or too little sleep) just take a metal spoon, dip it in ice water, and use the convex side to press against your eyes. You'll feel much better! :D

OK I'M OFF TO DO COURSEWORK NOW. Ughhh I can't wait for it to be OVER AND DONE WITH x_x

HAHA! It totally tells of how Michael Gambon makes such a bad Dumbledore! Far too aggressive and totally not suited for the role..lol.

Anyway, the movie was good! I thought they played up part where Dumbledore and Harry look for the horcrux really well. Although yes got a bit too much romance but I thought it was quite well done. No time for a full movie review though!! But I'm so glad I watched it already :D:D

Oh and if you don't already know, Emma Watson got As for her 3 A level subjects; geog, lit and HISTORY OF ART. Lol. So it's actually something like H1 art la..chehh! I thought she did coursework or something..haha. Don't be fooled. But it's super cool!! She's going to Columbia..damn pro right!

OKAY. Why am I blogging at such an unearthly hour? It's cos I just found this old movie (ok not THAT old, it was shown in 2003) about a girl called Eloise. There are two movies, Eloise at the Plaza and Eloise at Christmas Time. It's suuuuper nice hahaha the girl is so cute. And I love the soundtrack man... It's based on the cartoon version which is equally nice :D

Oh and I distinctly remember Cephas laughing at me when I pronounced Eloise as eh-lou-eese last year. HELLO CEPHAS I AM CORRECT HOR. See the video below at 03:16!! Lol dunno why people in our school pronounce it as ee-loise..

Today's shitty bio marked the end of CT2s, like finally. We're like the laggiest college lah.
I feel so cheated. I spent so much time and studied so hard for bio and yet the paper was so weird and tough that it didn't do me justice!! Arghh ok fine I'm just too lousy. I totally like gave up towards the end :( haiz. Ok I shall stop complaining. I just can't believe my first S grade will come from a bio paper.

Anyway, just came back from piano concert. Had a good catch up time with May :):) Hahaha we got Alicea Jagabees! And so did two other of her friends LOL.

I just watched Girls Out Loud (okok!! I was bored writing my T3A -_-) and I was super shocked to see that Singaporeans can't even pronounce words like 'deodorant' and 'genre' properly?!?! And they don't know what PIE and GST stand for :O Super embarrassing aiyooo.

By the way, I've finally finished studying bio!! YAY! However, whether I can REMEMBER all that I've studied is another thing altogether heh :):)

LOL. Do you know, on the way to church today, I saw a guy who looks like THIS on the mrt!

This is Wallace Huo, the main guy from A Mobile Love Story. Ok he looks REALLY BAD in photos but if you watch the show, you'll know how good looking he actually is! I was crazy over the show that time when it aired in Singapore that I bought the dvd cos I couldn't wait for Mediacorp to show one episode every week lolol.

Eh back to that guy on the mrt, I was like woahhh is that a celebrity?? Cos he REALLY looks like that!!! Like he was really tall, and had the stance of an actor. LOL.

Ok I'm so super random! Service was really good today! :D I loved the songs during praise and worship :) and and Gideon gave a really good sermon. Had supper with my dad and Annette in the airport (omg fattening!) after recapping bio with Zan the whole evening. Woah man..I'm super unprepared for CT2s :S But really really, thank God for the extra week. Duno what I'd be like without it :/ At least I can finish studying my stuff! :D

Church camp was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! :)

Two wonderful camps back to back, can be abit overwhelming but heck it!! I don't regret going for both :) So thankful that I was allowed to go in the end!

I've no time to go into the details of the camps, if not I'll take DAYS to blog! So I shall just spam photos :D (More on facebook) Enjoy!
